Pursue What You Love !!!

 Hi guys,

I'm here today to tell you something about getting a job in today's world. My parents are concerned about whether I'll get a government job or not if I do this degree, etc. And I think, why is there so much fascination with government jobs? As long as you want to live a luxurious life, whether you do a government job or a private one should not be a matter of discussion. Some people are just too lucky to get government jobs in today's world.

I came across some stereotypes recently about my microbiology subject (told by a known person) that

1. In industry, as per seniority, you'll get paid less

2. It's applied biology, and when you're considered for government jobs, people will prefer candidates from basic subjects like zoology, botany, and chemistry, but not you

3. In the future, people will turn to basic subjects only.

I know these are all false ❌. Because, as per seniority, you'll get paid more anywhere in the world. About basic subjects, we are in the world of ChatGPT and AI. Who will use push-button phones again if you use smartphones? And getting a government job is all about knowledge and capability, I think so, so it doesn't matter from which subject you did your graduation and post-graduation🎓.

Getting jobs is all about passion for the subject, planning, and perseverance. As long as you love your subject, you'll always be the successor in your field.

One government job can give you loans and government services. Now, newly allotted candidates can't even get pensions either. On the other hand, in the private sector, you can earn 2x to 4x the amount of money that you get for services like government jobs. If you're doing some private job abroad, then people will see you from a very different perspective than those doing government jobs in their native country. Am I right?? People always have a fascination with the ones who do something different, and their perspective changes depending on the position you hold.

After all, lastly, I think getting jobs or doing jobs isn't about government or private or status; it's all about your PASSION. Pursue what you love rather than chasing money and status. Your passion can give you both if you devote your life to it. Am I right?

Thank you,

Pranjita🌸.
